Galvanized iron (GI) sheets

Galvanized sheet or coil is made from a carbon steel sheet that has been zinc-coated on both sides using either continuous hot dipping or electro-galvanizing techniques. A layer of zinc strongly adhering to the base metal via an iron-zinc bonding layer provides enough protection.
